The Amerks put down the Bulldogs in their first preseason game tonight with a 3-2 victory at the ESL Centre, with goals from Tanner Glass, Kenndal McArdle and Adam Taylor.

Adam Dennis had a great showing stopping 16 of 18 shots faced.

Goals for Hamilton came from Duncan Milroy and Thomas Beauregard.

The Amerks took the victory in the first of a two game series with the defending Calder Cup Champions.  The second game will be played tomorrow at the Hagersville Memorial Arena in Hagersville, Ontario at 4:00PM.

The Americans’ home opener is Friday October 5 at 7:35PM against the Syracuse Crunch.
