No one can say that the Amerks players aren’t seen around the community. With a slew of events coming up where people can meet and greet the players of the Rochester Americans, there is plenty for a fan to do.
First, at your local public library, you can see the Amerks read to your children at the “Reading Power Play” events. These are being held to promote reading and literacy in children. A player and the Moose will be at each library and they will read to everyone and also sign autographs.

Also coming up on Thursday of next week (November 15th), is the first installment of “Plates and Pucks.” One of the Rochester Americans captains, Drew Larman, will be signing autographs at The Original CharBroil House. There will be six appearances made by the Americans this season. The next one will be on December 6th.
To cap off the week, the Rochester Americans are having a “Go-Kart Challenge†at Inside Track Speedway. Here people can race their favorite players in go-kart races for $6 a race. Portions of the proceeds will go to AIDS Rochester.
All of these events are great for the whole family.   And there are plenty more planned for the rest of the season.ÂÂ
