Amerks 2009 Training Camp and Preseason Schedule

The Rochester Americans will officially open their 2009-10 training camp on Thursday September 24th at the ESL Sports Centre in Henrietta.  The team will close training camp on September 29th.  During those six days of camp the Amerks will also play in three pre-season games.

The Florida Panthers are heading to Finland to close out their preseason so it’ll be interesting to see if more players than usual get sent down early and who gets to take the trip across the pond.

As soon as the full camp roster is released I’ll be posting it.  This years Amerks team gives us all a sense of optimism, stop down during camp to check the team out.

Here’s the complete schedule:

Thursday September 24
10:00 – 11:20am Team A practice
11:30 – 12:50pm Team B practice

Friday September 25
10:00 – 11:50am scrimmage

Saturday September 26
10:00 – 11:30am Game Day Skate

7:00pm vs Lake Erie Monsters at the Hoover Arena/Iceland USA in Strongsville, Ohio

Sunday September 27
10:00 – 11:30am Game Day Skate

6:00pm vs Syracuse Crunch at ESL Sports Centre

Monday September 28
10:00 – 11:30am Practice

Tuesday September 29
10:00 – 11:30am Practice

7:00pm vs Syracuse Crunch at War Memorial at OnCenter in Syracuse
