The Panthers called up Shawn Matthias this morning due to Gregory Campbells recent injury from one of his teammates running into him.

That leaves the Amerks short another player. Do we throw up a flag of caution yet? It is a good thing they got off to a hot start to be able to absorb some rough times.

The team managed to pull out a win in Abbotsford on Sunday in a game where it appeared they gave everything they had. We have seen what the team can do with a full lineup, now we’ll see what they can missing some key players.

Its not another long road trip but the remaining schedule could be a challenge, especially with three games against the Hershey Bears who are expected to be in the Calder Cup finals again.
