The big news but something that was expected is that Rory Fitzpatrick is in his last professional season. Fitzpatrick is in the final year of the two year contract he signed to play with the Rochester Americans. He has had a solid pro career and at the end of the season a story of his career can be told – the highs and lows.
Fitzpatrick will be staying Rochester and become involved with youth hockey. Read more about his plans here at the Democrat and Chronicle.
I,ve always liked him but it is time for him to retire! But its a plus to Rochester Youth Hockey! A Rochestarian we can be proud of.
