Amerks Cut Six from Training Camp Roster

The Rochester Americans officially end training camp on Friday morning and on Thursday afternoon trimmed the roster by six players.Â There will be more cuts after this weekends preseason games against the Toronto Marlies.Â The players cut were Brennan Sarazin, Tobias Whelan, Greg Collins, Chris Moran, Jeff Caister, and Riley Weselowski.

None of those players were expected to make the team but were all given an honest look to be potential call ups later in the season if needed.

Also, if you’re in front of the TV at 6pm tune to News 10 NBC for a story on Amerks Head Coach Chuck Weber spending the afternoon personally delivering season tickets.Â I was asked if I was going to be home to have our tickets delivered but said no one would be available, if I had known this I would’ve made sure to be available.
