The Amerks won their second game in a row on Sunday against the Toronto Marlies in a home and home series. Â The two games gave the Amerks a much needed four points in the standings and also proved again that they can compete with the best when they want to. The team will now prepare for back to back home games this Friday and Saturday against the Binghamton Senators, last seasons Calder Cup champions who are now in last place in the league.

Mike Catalana interviews Evan Rankin before the Amerks’ game against the Toronto Marlies on his return from a concussion. This would be Evan’s final game on a Professional Tryout as he was rewarded with an AHL contract on Monday. He had 8 goals and 7 assists for 15 points in 18 games.
