The Amerks need every win they can get and continued to do that on Friday night with a 3-1 win over the Binghamton Senators to move into eighth place, at least for the time being.  Paul Szczechura, Luke Adam and Derek Whitmore are three players the Amerks need to rely on for scoring and they did just that scoring Friday night for the win.
There’s 16 regular season games left and every game and every point counts with only six points separating 3rd place and 11th place in the Western Conference. Â The same two teams play again tonight and even though the Binghamton Senators are in last place they are not a team to be taken for granted. Â As long as the Amerks play the same way they did on Friday night they should finish the weekend with four points.
