Jason Garrison Leads Amerks to Shootout Win
The defensive duo of Jason Garrison and Matt Duffy led the Rochester Americans to a shootout win on Wednesday night against the Albany River Rats at Blue Cross Arena. Jason Garrison scored two goals, his first two goal game, and Matt Duffy playing in his first American Hockey League game assisted on both of Garrisons goals. Karl Stewart scored at 16:42 of the third period to tie the game at three. Brett Parnham, playing in his second AHL game, scored the first goal in the shootout along with Janis Sprukts and Karl Stewart to lead the Amerks to a win.

Amerks Looking to End Eight Game Losing Streak Tonight
Alexandre Picard of the Syracuse Crunch is going to be the player to watch in tonights game at Blue Cross Arena between the Rochester Americans and Crunch. Picard scored a hat trick on Friday night against the Amerks and then follow that up with a four goal night on Saturday against the Albany River Rats. In two nights Picard has increased from 9 goals on the season to 16.
Alexandre Picard Hat Trick Leads Crunch to Victory
(Syracuse, NY) The Rochester Americans have successfully extended their losing streak to eight games with tonights 5-2 loss against the Syracuse Crunch. Alexandre Picard scored a hat trick to lead the Crunch to victory. This team has not won a game since March 1st when they defeated the Binghamton Senators 3-2. Entering the month of March it appeared as if the Amerks were going to end the season on a high note, instead they’ve spent the month putting together the worst losing streak of the season.
